Madalina Vechiu is an highly influential, respected and well known face within the Sales Profession in Romania and CEE. For the last 10 years she has driven the Salestrust organization with over 200 conferences and events dedicated to Sales Professionals and over 1,500 training, mentoring and coaching sessions.
Her professional life starts in Venice then goes to New York, then London-Bucharest where essentially she has been living and working for the past 18 years.
After a 4 years bachelor degree in Ca’Foscari University, Venice Italy on International Business she headed to New York for the first work experience as a Sales Apprentice in the Headquarters helping out 4 different channels Sales Managers and the Sales Director.
After 1 year there and an incredible work experience she decided to start a life at home in Bucharest, Romania thinking ‚If you make it in NY, you make it anywhere you actually want to live’ and according to her now ‚This is still absolutely true’. 18 years later after 3 major Sales Roles in Business Education helping +500 companies in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia and Czech Republic invest in their most important asset, i.e. their people, to internationally qualify them in ACCA (Accounting), CIA (Audit), CIM (Marketing), CIPS (Procurement) and ISM (Sales) she is now representing ISM UK Institute of Sales Management in Romania and the CEE and helping sales professionals qualify internationally.
The highest achievement possible is when someone crossing our doorstep, after having worked hard in the qualification process 1-2 years, not necessary enjoying going out of their comfort zone, one day comes back and it turns out they managed to run a great career and personal life.’
Over 3,500 professionals internationally qualified and out of these over 1,500 are now holding executive positions as CEO, CSO or CFO raising the reputation of the professional Romanian marketplace. This hasn’t been easy and not all days have been perfect, but what they have been for sure, ‘they have been meaningful’.
