Colin Lovering, a British National living in Romania for 13 years, has had a successful, International career in Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Sales Management, Board Membership, Global Training and Business Performance Consultancy. He has worked in the corporate world for half of his career where he was based in the UK before moving to France to write and deliver Business Performance programmes across Europe and South Africa. Colin then took a global role in New York to help further raise the level of the cultural and skill qualities of the global teams including extensive work in North America, China, Africa and Europe.
In 2009 he set up a business performance consultancy in Romania supporting large and small organisations in Inspirational Leadership, Business Strategy, Sales & Marketing, Change Management, KPI Performance, etc.
The organisations that Colin has worked with include HP, Accenture, OMV Petrom, KPMG, BMW, Renault Dacia, Oracle, DHL, Deloitte, Heidi Chocolates, Hunt Oil and CBRE
In 2022 Colin wrote his first book “A Day in the Life of Exceptional Sales Professionals” and, in July published his second book “The Psychological Advantage” – An insight into the power of psychology in business and management.
He is a qualified practitioner in emotional Intelligence with Genos University, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bucharest and President of the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce.
Florin Petrescu guides leadership teams through performance transformations, culture-change and agility programs, organizational design, top-team effectiveness, leading to sustainable operational and financial impact resulting in greater organizational health.
Florin works closely with founders and leadership teams as they transform their organizations to improve performance, organizational health, speed, and agility. He is also an expert on organizational design, corporate culture, leadership development, team effectiveness, capability building, and transformational change.
Much of Florin’s work focuses on helping scale ups to achieve growth, innovation, productivity, and organizational agility. He serves clients across several industries, including technology, engineering, renewable energy, financial services, and healthcare.
For over 15 years, Florin held various senior country and regional leadership roles in Human Resources with a global bank and a large multinational telecommunications company, building high performing organizations internationally.
He has an MSc in International HR Management from Cranfield School of Management (UK), where he specialized in organizational dynamics, culture, human-resource management, leadership effectiveness, and strategic change.
Madalina Vechiu is an highly influential, respected and well known face within the Sales Profession in Romania and CEE. For the last 10 years she has driven the Salestrust organization with over 200 conferences and events dedicated to Sales Professionals and over 1,500 training, mentoring and coaching sessions.
Her professional life starts in Venice then goes to New York, then London-Bucharest where essentially she has been living and working for the past 18 years.
After a 4 years bachelor degree in Ca’Foscari University, Venice Italy on International Business she headed to New York for the first work experience as a Sales Apprentice in the Headquarters helping out 4 different channels Sales Managers and the Sales Director.
After 1 year there and an incredible work experience she decided to start a life at home in Bucharest, Romania thinking ‚If you make it in NY, you make it anywhere you actually want to live’ and according to her now ‚This is still absolutely true’. 18 years later after 3 major Sales Roles in Business Education helping +500 companies in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia and Czech Republic invest in their most important asset, i.e. their people, to internationally qualify them in ACCA (Accounting), CIA (Audit), CIM (Marketing), CIPS (Procurement) and ISM (Sales) she is now representing ISM UK Institute of Sales Management in Romania and the CEE and helping sales professionals qualify internationally.
The highest achievement possible is when someone crossing our doorstep, after having worked hard in the qualification process 1-2 years, not necessary enjoying going out of their comfort zone, one day comes back and it turns out they managed to run a great career and personal life.’
Over 3,500 professionals internationally qualified and out of these over 1,500 are now holding executive positions as CEO, CSO or CFO raising the reputation of the professional Romanian marketplace. This hasn’t been easy and not all days have been perfect, but what they have been for sure, ‘they have been meaningful’.
